Monday monochrome makeup

I won't bore you with the details but our house is in free fall. What small semblance of a routine we had has spectacularly fallen apart. This left me with <1 minute for makeup this morning. Going without after 4 hours of broken sleep is NOT an option. This is a matter of public interest.

First up Chanel CC Creme. CC cremes are primarily aimed to colour correct which was exactly why I bought it this summer at the height of hyper pigmentation gate. It has a full coverage but a little goes a long way so today I just used a tiny bit over my chin, cheeks and nose. It has the lovely Chanel smell and also has SPF 50 - laughable on a drab day like today but still one of the best anti ageing tools we have. No UV for me today! I hadn't used this for months but actually it looks great and minimal need for concealer. £44 for 50ml but does last - although don't leave it too long as SPF will degrade.  4 shades - I went for beige 20 and I am VERY pale.

Slapped on top is my old mate SIsley phyto eclat blush in shade 3, mango. I bought this a few years ago when I got smashed at a makeover/drinks evening at my old hairdressers. They saw me coming.....got me drunk.....and then watched me leave with half of the Sisley counter. EXPENSIVE. This blush, thankfully was a winner. A pink and peach combo it acts as a blush come bronzer so basically you can throw it anywhere vaguely in the direction of your cheeks and you look good. Well, in my case less dead.  £51.50 and 5 shades to choose from. I was matched as mango - shade 3 - but I was flushed drunk at the time :)
